winter solstice/cusp

So i have been looking at the fact that i am born on the cusp of Sagittarius and Capricorn and aswell as i looked at the winter solstice dates for december 22, 1978. apparently the dates fluctuate from year to year around december 20, 21, 22nd of the year. and that year it was on the 22nd of December... theres got to be some sort of spiritual significance to that combination...
