Village times..

Went to Ashcroft last weekend, some good times, some bad times, mostly good times. Some times I don't remember. You know those times when you meet up with old friends and accidentally end up drinking way to much and having the next day be a total write off... Yeah, that happened.
Was able to get a suit for my buddies wedding though.
Went into kamloops, went to Moores, came out with the suit you see in the above picture. Met up with Casey's brother and sister, and her husband, (Casey is guy in picture beside me, it's his wedding). Went to Duffys pub and had some boneless chicken bites and some Nachos. Drove back to his house in Ashcroft. Ended up at the River Inn towards the end of the night, walked back to his house at some point, grabbed out stuff and went to my parents house for sleep.
Woke up... Kaboom... Hangover city. I remember why I only excess once In a blue moon, cause Sunday was the worst. On top of not being able to keep anything down, I was also so tired and I had to drive to vancouver. Yep, troopered it up and got it done though, thanks to coffee in Boston Bar, I was able to continue our voyage. Had to pick up out dogs in Abbotsford. So we made a little detour, got to meet one of Leah's cousins from her moms side.
Got home at 6 I think, unloaded the car and ordered some Pizza. Didn't get the right Pizza, phones in, they gave us the proper pizza. Was thankful they did cause don't like eating something I didn't order. Cudos Pizza Hut.

Our Saturday of May Long Weekend

May long weekend, went to Leah's *prolotherapy (see below) appointment with her. Watched a CBC documentary about a Vietnamese man living in Toronto in the waiting room. He tree up in low income house with no dad.

He ended up turning to a life of drugs and crime... Sometimes that'll happen. Anyways, went to North Delta after and visited with Grandpa and Grandma Bennett. Aunty carol, Mike, Theresa Ben and Morgan were there too. Was good visits.

After we decided to go to Boston Pizza @ Queensborough Landing in New Westminster, had the Spicy Perogy Burger and a pint of Molson Canadian.

After that we decided to go to the Richmomd Summer Night Market. Went there a bunch of times last year. So many booths with lots of items, mostly for cell phone accessories. We did find an art booth selling Angelina Wrona prints. Last year we bought close to 10 of her prints, found two more we didn't have.

There is a whole food section chalked full of very good smelling foods, mainly Asian cuisine. Good none the less. Im the north easy corner of the food section there is a mini donuts food truck... Boom, bought 24 of them little suckers, so good. We left and went home.

All in all was a pretty good Saturday, weather was pretty good too. Au Revoir.

Prolotherapy is also known as "proliferation therapy," "regenerative injection therapy,"[1] or "proliferative injection therapy". It involves injecting an otherwise non-pharmacological and non-active irritant solution into the body, generally in the region of tendons or ligaments for the purpose of strengthening weakened connective tissue and alleviating musculoskeletalpain.[2][3][4][5]

Prolotherapy is hypothesized to reinitiate the inflammatory process that deposits new additional fibers thereby repairing lax tendons or ligaments and to possibly promote the release of local growth factors.[6][7] However, the precise mechanism of action remains unknown.[1] Once strengthened, the weak areas would no longer send pain signals.[8]

A new 'green' idea

Have been thinking lately of what I am going to do with the rest of my life. Clearly I'm an auto glass installer, but I think it's time to do something else. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like my job, or where I work. To be honest, I really enjoy my job and where I work. But meh, it's time to challenge the brain again.
When I did the web publishing certificate, I found out that I was indeed smart... And we'll, what a feeling that it. Not that I thought I was comb or anything, I just didn't apply myself at all in high school. Chalk it up to a lack of interest.
Have been thinking of going into earth sciences, or getting an diploma in environmental studies, or a degree in earth sciences.
Mainly because I want to change my job from doing something that isn't good for the environment to something that would help me do my part to save the environment. Having always had a soft spot for what greenpeace is doing, it is helping me decide what I would like to study. That's it for now... A revoir.
