Aparently I caused quite the hoopla of debate and posts, some from family members, some from people I know. I'm learning topics such as oil pipelines should be on the same page as politics and religion.
Well, my opinion is my opinion, and besides you people who are against what I post, maybe read the whole story first, I am not against oil, I am not against the use of fossil fuels... Just the modern day transportation methods of it to other world markets while we pay so much for petroleum to power our cars etc...
A wise man helped me see that the delivery of my post was a bit skewed and I should have chosen my words more wise.
Quite possibly I am just plain uneducated and my issue is with governments taxing the shit out of its citizens and not actually big oil.
But thanks for making it personal though, I mean fuck?.. really?
My jobs depends on petroleum products, everything from the automobiles I work on to the windscreens I replace. (Laminate between the two pieces of glass is plastic... Plastic is oil. Without oil my table hath no dinner on it. Was simply trying to throw ou the idea that we need to find safer ways to transport or use he oil we take from the ground. Cause I'm my opinion, modern day practices aren't interested in preservation, more to feed the greed.
