Happy birthday to me. The world didn't end yesterday and I turned 34. :D

Soon...

In a few days, I'll be the ripe old age if 34. And to be honest, I'm perfectly fine with my age. I'm not sure if I went on this spiel or not, but I did plenty of cool shit in 20's and 30's.
I'll go into that I greater detail when I decide to write a memoir. Going to have to wait until then for anyone who is actually following me on my blog.

Week 46...

This last week, ( now my bitch about first world problems) haven't been able to sleep well all week. I'd love to be able to share with the online universe about what my issues are, but since this thing is for all to see, I'm just going to have to keep it to myself... Yeah, what's the point in writing on a online blog (another first world problem)
What I should be doing is complaining about starving, or having to walk three miles in the heat and sand for a bucket of water... But instead my petty problems seem pretty lame.
But this week is ending n a high, my lovely fiancée is rolling to town this afternoon for the weekend. My funk will disappear by the end of the working day and the good times will be had once again. Don't even care what we do, as long I'm hanging out with my beautiful future wife, that's all I need...
Over and out for now, gotta floss and brush my teeth and go install windscreens for the man...

Saturday...

We went and picked up my dad today from St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. He had a day surgery to remove polyps in his nose. They kept him overnight for observation yesterday cause he was having some problems getting his oxygen levels back up to normal.
After that we just chilled out at home, relaxed for most of the day.

What's what right now...

My beautiful fiancée has a mid term tomorrow on Mat/Peeds. (Maternity and Pediatrics). I'm so proud of her, with all she's done this year, Totally jumping out of her comfort zone and going to stay with her dad in Kamloops BC and going to college get her LPN. Yay for Leah...
She puts a smile on my face when I think of her, it sucks how she's there and I'm here. But it's just the way it is. It's no different than a rigger going to camp for 2 weeks. We see each other every 2 weeks.
My Mom turns 61 tomorrow... Actually in 1 hour and 55 minutes. My Dad is going to St. Paul's hospital tomorrow to have day surgery on his nose, they are staying with me for a few days.
last year at this time I we were in Maui, Hawaii getting ready to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday @ Honua Kai Resort & Spa.

Sleepless nights again...

I wish my preoccupied mind would quit racing around with thoughts long enough for me to go to sleep. Most of them I cannot talk about, don't want do hurt anyone's feelings. So much for a blog set up to get my gripes out hey... I didn't know street cleaners worked at 7 minutes to 12. My mom and dad are here visiting me for the next few days... Yay house guests.

Riding on a bus

I'm doing my part to save this planet, and to keep gasoline cost low by not using any. I'm riding the transit to my dentist appointment. Also cause I have no car and the dentist appointment is in Burnaby.

Friday...

As I sit here with absolutely no drive to anything other than listen to 90's Britpop and reminisce of my past. What it's turned me into, what I did...
Don't get me wrong, shit turned out pretty good, got a "decent job" and i am marrying my best friend.
But the simple life of an auto glass installer seems far to lame to spend the rest of my life doing.

A Sunday in October

Hey all, hope all is well. It's Sunday, the Packers beat the Texans. Giggity. Found out Molly isn't interested in eating baby corns, had to clean up that mess. Pour puppy.
Leah went back to Kamloops to start semester 3 of 3. Yay, by baby us kicking the shit out if her LPN course.

Bullying and the effects...

So, recently a 15 year old girl was bullied so much that she took her own life. I really hope that the kids, let me rephrase that, douche bags who did these thing to this girl get the karma they deserve. But in a world where there is no laws against being an asshole. It's tough to bring justice to those whom were involved.
I'd like to think that back in high school, I wasnt a bully. I know some of the people i used to run with were dicks to people, and of course not standing up for people pretty much means that I would be guilty by association. I'm pretty sure I wasn't bullied at all. Or at least I don't remember being bullied. Not were there no fucks given at the time.

Wrong side of the bed...

I love waking up grumpy. Na, just kidding. But I am feeling pretty sour today. Maybe it's because some portions of my work are lame, or this acid reflux bullshit is starting to really piss me off.

Went and met up with Mike B today and jammed on some new ideas. Was good to get back on the bass. First time in a few months, felt really good. Had some new ideas musically lately and it was time to get them out. Turns out they pretty heavy sounding riffs.

Last nights festivities

Last night I got to witness the goodness of a Illinois based hard rock band named Chevelle. One of those bands I always wanted to see them, but they rarely come to Vancouver.

2 wedding and a rimjob...

Yes that's right. We went to 2 weddings on Saturday and I had to replace a rim on my car. Weddings were really nice, as they usually are. We missed the ceremony at Shawna and Stephen's wedding but were able to hit up the dinner and dance. Split between Jericho Beach in Vancouver, and chilliwack.

So the arctic is melting, they blame global warming, I don't doubt that, but apparently polluting the air isn't a fine when it affects big business.

Also, Canadian children 1 in 3 are obese. WTF? Seriously, how about more exercise people. The school isn't going to make PE any longer, they don't have any money for anything. Military is more important apparently.

Do you believe in Aliens? I do, there's gotta be something out there. I was watching a show called 'ancient aliens' on History Channel. Lots of other civilizations have proof if such beings. There's no way humans are the only ones in the universe, galaxy... Whatever... Believe what you will.

And also, I'm getting married next year. Yup, my long time girlfriend, main squeeze if you will Leah Marie Bennett and myself are going to get married. Liw the knot... in 2013. Sure hope that Mayan thing is a load of crap... :)

Hump day... Week 380

Yes, I have been on earth for 380 weeks, this week is no different that last week. Same ole, same ole. Work, eat, sleep, repeat... Nothing to write about, didn't see anything exciting. Weehooo.

Things you forget about...

Hello, blog. I totally forgot I had this going.  From the looks of things, I haven't posts anything since December 2011. Much has happened since then, work is still work. People still live their lives, new people have entered their time on earthsome people have passed on etc... The world keeps spinning.  Got engaged to my long time girl Leah about a month ago or so. Been talking of wedding plans lately... Good times.
She's going to school in kamloops to be a LPN. Interesting things she is learning. Yes she spends half her time in kamloops and the rest of her time here... It's cool, we make it work. She'll be done around May 2013.
I have been hard core slacking off with my band lately, but when I'm busy at work, pulling 10 hours a day, don't much feel like playing. Que sera, sera. Over and out for now blog world.
