Took a trip to the Richmond Country Farms market today, got mostly local produce. It's a farmers market on the eat side of highway 99 at the steveston highway interchange. They have a whole selection of fruits and vegetables. Like I mentioned above, mostly local grown. They has carts and carts of corm, three for a dollar. Grown on the farm, peppers, cucumbers, zuccini. You name it, they got it. And also some extra goodies too, kettle corn. There's a vast selection of organics aswell, also they have my favourite milk, avalon. ended up filling out crisper, and the rest of the fridge with broccoli, cauliflower, beans, corn (three ears for a buck), kale, peppers (green, red, and purple). and a bunch of other assorted fruits and veggies, for a reasonable price too.
At Richmond Country Farms they also gave farm animals around. below are some example of just what they gave for animals...
