ALS ice bucket challenge.

So I was nominated by my brother Blake to dump a bucket of ice water on my head for awareness for the disease ALS. But I decided to donate $50.00 instead. See, I don't really understand what dumping a bucket of ice water on your head has to do with finding a cure for ALS. no offense to those who participate in the ice bucket challenge, but it's just not for me.
